Abhijeet Ferrotech Limited (AFL) is setting up an 8X13.5 MVA Ferro alloy plant at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The total capacity would be 119,401 tpa of Ferro manganese and 61,406 tpa of silico manganese. The total project cost of Rs 554 Crores and is being financed by debt equity ratio of 2:1. The AFL has achieved financial closure and the disbursement has started in October 2009. |

The project envisages setting up of 2 units of 660 MW each using super critical technology. The Coal Requirement for phase I of 1320 MW will be mined from alloted captive coal mine from Mahuagarhi Coal Block.
The total project cost is estimated of Rs 7413 Crores and is being financed by debt equity ratio of 4:1. The Debt of the project has been In-Principally Underwritten by Axis bank. |
