  India ranks at 127 position in the Human Development Index due to its poor infrastructure in the health sector. India has performed very poorly in Public Health which is revealed by the facts that many Indians do not get clean drinking water, only 14% of the rural population have access to proper sanitation and Diarrhoea alone kills half a million infants every year. Much can be done to provide clean drinking water and also to improve the sanitation in villages and take preventive steps to save the poor from diseases. The foundation has taken few initiatives in order to address the  concerns pertaining to human health and well-being...    
     
 
Medical camp
    Adding few more pearls in its string of its CSR activities, 'Abhijeet Foundation' organized a free medical camp for the people of Hisri village, Chandwa, on 6th April 2010. In all, 30 patients were given medical assistance by the experienced doctors present at the camp.
Eye camp
    On the 15 April’07 an eye camp was organized at Hempur i.e. our project village. The Doctor from Daltonganj was there in the camp. Almost 150 patients were there in the camp.
  Health camp at Bhainsadon
    In Bhainsadon middle school a health camp was organized on 21st December’06. It was organized with the Department of Health.The camp was inaugurated by the DC Mr. Manish Ranjan.It was organized for the cluster villages of Dahdhu Panchayat
  Health camp at Hempur
    A health camp was organized on 15 May’07 at Hempur village near the Hempur Health Sub-Center.. Almost 650 patients were benefited from the camp. The camp was inaugurated by the CS (Latehar) Dr.A.K.Das and led by PHC-in-charge Dr. Ashok Kumar.
  Anti-malarial drive
    To prevent the people of Latehar from the malaria as it is the malaria-prone zone a drive was organized in which DDT was sprayed in the project villages and people were made aware for protection from malaria.
  Veterinary camp
    Five veterinary camps were organized to help the people whose financial status is greatly depend upon the cattles. The camps were organized in Hempur, Bhainsdon, Dhadhu, Chakla and Navatoli.
  Anti-rabbies vaccination
    Group has provided the vaccines to the people affected by the dog-biting in Chandwa and Balumath. So far 18 patients are supported with the vaccines. Each patient is given 5 doses of vaccines.
  Blood donation
    To support the people of Chandwa and Balumath as here is no blood bank; Group had organized a blood donation camp in the Chandwa office. The Apollo Hospital of Ranchi and Nagarmal Modi Sewa Sadan have assured the group that they will support whoever from the area will be in need of the blood.
  Cataract camp
    A cataract camp is scheduled on 29th Sep’07 to 02nd Oct’07.The same will be done at Latehar District Hospital. So far 150 patients are registered for operation
  SOS facility at BOT Project site (Karnataka)
    The Foundation has  contributed a great deal in the wellbeing of the people in the BOT Toll road project at Bangalore in state of Karnataka It ensures immediate help to all the accident victims in the stretch, on many occasions, company’s ambulances are sent to surrounding areas to help the local people
